Jane and Don

Jane Kenyon and Donald Hall seem to have had a very fulfilling relationship. Neither of my wives was too much into poetry, and I stopped writing during my marriages. I'm thinking that it would be best to be in a relationship with someone who shares the poetic sensibility. Then I think of Ted and Sylvia.

Just learning about Jane Kenyon by reading "Simply Lasting". She has a plain style, but I sense more than plain thinking behind her words (unlike Mary Oliver.)
